Elements used:
Instructions:
Stamp both images on black cardstock.
Tap a small amount of each of the three colors of pearl-ex
powder onto the image with a paint brush. Once
you have the powder tapped on, swirl your paintbrush
around until the powder has clung to all of the areas
of the image. Spray the image with fixatif (or use an
aerosol hairspray) to keep the image from smearing later
on. Cut out the images and layer them onto your colored
cardstock.

Elements used:
Instructions:
Cut card stock for base layers, using white as the top layer (do not attach white layer yet). On another piece of white paper, stamp the fleur de lis using multiple colors of pigment ink (we used sky blue and imperial blue versacolor). Stamp in gold Encore the leaf background directly over the fleur de lis. Then stamp in a darker purple or blue, the french worded diamond. Cut out the image close to the edge of the fleur de lis.
Place a post-it note in the center of the white piece of card stock. Using your ink pads directly to the paper, brush the ink pad from the post-it note towards and past the outer edge of the white card. Repeat this step using two or three more colors, leaving little white space. Next stamp the french worded diamond randomly across the card. Do the same with the leaf background using the gold Encore ink.
Take the post it note off and stamp "Merci" in the bottom right hand corner of the white space. Attach the fleur de lis with double sided mounting cushion and adhere the white card to the bottom layers of your card. Voila...you are done! |

Elements used:
Instructions:
Cut and adhere bottom two layers of cards. On the white layer, ink lightly in various shades of green, the stressed motif and the diamond background. Stipple a darker green ink around the outside of the entire card.
Using the gold Encore ink pad, stamp the stressed motif. Stamp the feather in various shades of green. On a small piece of white card-stock, stamp the stressed motif in a dark green, cut it out with the decorative scissors (I used Fiskars Victorian style), stipple the paper with the same green and ink the edges with the gold pen.
Adhere this piece with cushion tape to the white card and finish assembling the top layer to the bottom. |
